Biodiversity Walk

On Thursday 12th December between 12-1 pm, we will set off on our last Biodiversity Walk of the year.

This close to Christmas, we will be searching for calling birds - singing "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and wearing Christmas-themed clothing is highly welcome but optional.

The activity will entail walking on a path, identifying and recording all bird species we see and hear. Recommended apps to have for this walk are iNaturalist, Merlin Bird ID and BirdNET - we are happy to explain the use of any of these apps during the walk. Please also bring binoculars if you have them.

Please wear suitable shoes as it may be muddy, and dress according to the weather. Open to all staff and students.

Meeting point is TBC. Sign-up required.

Please ensure you read pages 1-7 of the Risk AssessmentLink opens in a new window prior to attending the event.

We are pleased to confirm that students can earn a point towards the Warwick AwardLink opens in a new window by attending two of our biodiversity-related activities.
