How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

LDCU Open Discussion

The weekly open discussions related to teaching and learning online will begin again from Wednesday 13th January. These sessions provide an opportunity to share experiences and ideas as well as ask questions and learn from each other. Everyone is welcome and you can drop in at any time during the 1 hour session.

Follow this link to access the LDCU Teams channel and live meeting at 1-2pm each Wednesday.

The Warwick Ex-Military Professional Network (WEMPN) is excited to announce its launch event!

We are delighted that the evening will be opened by WBS Professor James Hayton, Pro Dean of External Affairs and Professor of HRM and Entrepreneurship.

This is an open event and will touch on topics such as leadership, overcoming problems and problem-solving techniques that are relevant to every person that holds a managerial position.

Speakers:

  • Ben Brabyn, Business Development, and ecosystem expert and former Head of Level 39, Europe's leading fintech and cybersecurity cluster, who served as an officer in the Royal Marines Commandos. Ben is an Alumnus of WBS and sits on the WEMPN Committee
  • Meyrav Gal-Dayan: Entrepreneur and CTO who has retired following a 28-yearlong service, ranked Lieutenant Colonel from the Intelligence Corps of the Israeli Defence Forces. Since then, Meyrav has been performing as CTO and VP R&D for several start-up companies
  • Gareth Tennant: Founder and Director of Decision Advantage Consulting and Ex-Royal Marines officer who regularly gives talks on how experience can bring value to business problems. Gareth now supports business leaders, governments, and security services in the art of decision making
