Focus Group: LGBTQUIA+ Experiences of LanguageVia registration onlyThis series of focus groups has been organised by the Queering University programme as part of the Understanding LGBTQUIA+ Student Experiences project. 21% of LGBTQUIA+ Student Experiences Survey respondents had been subject to negative comments or behaviour at the University in the last year, with 30% witnessing such language or behaviour. 45% had overheard language from other students or staff which was derogatory about LGBTQUIA+ identities, culture, or experiences. We want to explore further students' experiences of language use and misuse relating to LGBTQUIA+ identities, culture, or experiences. If you are interested in attending this focus group, please register your interest here. If you have any questions, or would like further information prior to registering your interest, please contact Sam Parr via S.Parr.2@warwick.ac.uk. |
