How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

This event is hosted by Warwick Pride

To kick off Trans Awareness Week, we are hosting "What's the T?", an evening of short talks on themes of Trans Awareness:

Jupiter will give a talk on "Trans Awareness Week - Why it's Important"

(CWs: transphobia, queerphobia, current politics)

Sam will give a talk on "Experiences of Trans Students and Staff in HE"

(CWs: discussion and examples of cisnormativity and transphobia (including institutional forms), misgendering, deadnaming, and harassment, as well as the impact of estrangement and poor mental health. There will be a brief mention of sexual violence, self-harm and suicide (in the context of prevalence for the trans community), though there will be no extended discussion or examples.)

Tal will give a talk on "Trans Representation in the Media"

(CWs: discussion of transphobia, mentions of SA (no details) and discussion of microaggressions)

Ella will give a talk on "The Importance of Trans Joy and its Nuances"

(CWs: transphobia/transphobic rhetoric)

Everyone is welcome, and we encourage trans allies in particular to come along to learn more!
