How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Design Thinking Experience
Junction Building

Thursday 29th February

5.00pm – 7.00pm

We will run through an entire Design Sprint in under 90 minutes! This will give you an awareness of the power of Design Thinking and hopefully whet your appetite to explore further.

After the workshop there will be a Q&A and open discussion about Design Thinking.

Who is this experience for?

SMEs, Start-ups, Students, Graduates, Services, Administrators, Academics.

You don’t need any experience in Design Thinking or Innovation, just an open mind and an interest in using a person centred, creative and collaborative approach to problem solving.

You can attend as an individual or bring your small team, if you are attending as a team, please book a ticket for all attending members.

What is Design Thinking?

Design thinking has a human-centred core. It encourages organisations to focus on the people they're creating for, which leads to better products, services, and processes. When you sit down to create a solution for a business need, the first question should always be what's the human need behind it?

Design Thinking is a team sport. It can help you and your team to understand your users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions in a collaborative way. In this workshop you will explore the principals of Design Thinking first hand.
