Developing an Innovative Chinese Speaking Course for Communication (LingWa)

LingWa (Language and Culture @ Warwick) is an award winning project, sponsored by the University of Warwick Retired Staff Association (WRSA). LingWa aims to encourage language learners to participate in web-based interactive language learning activities, and to discuss intercultural issues in the target language.

Developing an Innovative Chinese Speaking Course for Communication is a session by LingWa, hosted by Mr CK Jung and Dr Fei-Yu Chuang. It will cover the following topics:

  • Needs analysis
  • Multimedia and language learning
  • Domain registration and web hosting processes
  • Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
  • Building a language exchange community

Attendance is free and refreshments will be served. Places are strictly limited however and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
