Memory and the City

Symposium presented jointly by the Department of Italian Studies, University of Birmingham, and the Department of Italian, University of Warwick
John Dickie and John Foot will each present and discuss the short films they made as part of the UCL project on ‘Memory and Place in the Twentieth-Century Italian City’:
- Messina: a city without memory? - John Dickie
- Story of a house: Piazzale Lugano 22 - John Foot
Monica Jansen (Antwerp) will also speak about memories of the violence surrounding the G8 summit in Genoa, 2001
