The 76th Annual Kenilworth Carnival

This Saturday sees Kenilworth celebrate its 76th annual carnival with a host of floats set to take to the streets of Kenilworth on Saturday afternoon.

The Carnival procession will set off from Brays car park at 2:30pm and will take in the High Street, then Bridge Street, Waverley Road, St John's Street, Randall Road, and the Kenilworth Clock, before floats disperse at Forrest Road.

CarnivalEntertainment will be provided on the Plateau in Abbey Fields between 3pm and 5pm, with some old favourites returning including The Crew - a cheerleader team from Coventry plus dancers from the Tommy Docherty School of Dance displaying their Irish dancing skills and the return of the 'Shimmy' Dance Troupe. There will also be a display of martial arts from the British Tang Soo Doo Federation.

There will also be a funfair in Abbey Fields from Thursday 3 July to Saturday 5 July with opening times afternoon 'til late.

Programmes can be bought in a number of town centre venues, and raffle tickets will be available at the Abbey Fields on Saturday afternoon.

The Carnival Grand Draw will take place in Abbey Fields at 5:30pm to round of the day's entertainment. Prizes include £250 Waitrose/John Lewis vouchers, £100 cash, Aston Martin Propack plus a trip to the Prodrive factory.
