Morning breakout sessions: our Warwick!

Our morning breakout sessions focused on student and staff experience and how we can all work together better to achieve more. These interactive sessions were led by the University's senior officers, with delegates sharing your ideas, knowledge, good practice and lessons learned.

Choices were:

Feedback and assessment (on student academic performance)

Who's involved - who has a role to play? What standards do we need? Where's the good practice - here and from other institutions - how do we learn from and build on it?

They've paid their money - now what do they expect and need?

Understanding and addressing student expectations and needs. How do we know we're getting it right?

Internationalisation - our partnerships, relationships and global community

How will it transform Warwick and the Warwick experience? How do we make the most of opportunities, for students and staff?

Our campus

What's great about our campus? What's missing or could be improved? How does our campus seem to the outside world and why does that matter? Does it say 'Come on in' or 'Members only'?

It's our responsibility

Does Warwick have a service culture? What impact do we each have on Warwick's success? What ownership do we feel for and take in the Warwick community?

Joining things up - working more collaboratively

How can we work better together - regardless of who and where we are in the University - to achieve more? What networks and culture do we need to make it work?

Grow our known

How do we make the most of what we know? How do we turn information into knowledge? How do we learn from and build on good practice?

Let's get creative - in our thinking and working

How do we encourage and support creativity in the workplace? How can we nurture ideas? How can a culture of creativity benefit Warwick?

Blue sky

Take the key themes - student and staff experience, and working together better - and off you go. No starter for 10. No limits.
