New Nursery website
The Web Team have been working with the Nursery to produce a new web site. The aim of the redesign was to present a friendly but professional site, reflect the new building and make the information easier to find.

The site also makes use of Google open fonts.
New French Department Website
The ITS Web Team have been working with the French Department since February to produce a newly styled and better organised web site. The brief was to update the design to look fresher, reflecting the younger audience that French want to draw to the site and have a strong French feel. The major audience for the site being undergraduate students 50%, postgraduate students 25% and researchers 25%.
The website launched last week also makes use of sitebuilder 'personalisation tags' on the module pages to present some module information to external visitors, while signed in students get more information, thus making maintenance easier.
Brief Outages on Crocus
There will be 2 brief outages to this server over the coming days (details below), which will enable us to create a ‘mirrored’ copy of the server. This means that for upgrades to Crocus, planned for the summer, there will be no need for additional downtime.
Friday 23 July at 10:00 to 10:15 – Home directories on Crocus will appear to ‘hang’ for approximately 1-minute. Access to the server will not be lost.
Monday 26 July at 10:00 – Any departmental web redirects will be unavailable for a short period, anyone attempting to access the page will receive a page saying maintenance work is on-going.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this work, please contact customerservice@warwick.ac.uk
