Sociability in Politics, Food and Travel in the Early Modern Era
This international conference, taking place 8-10 June, is open to researchers at all levels of their careers. It aims to explore new insights on forms, models and practices of sociability interpreted and analysed through the themes of food, politics and travel.
Global History and Culture Centre Annual Conference
This year's GHCC Annual Conference will look at Archaeology, Antiquity, and the Making of the Modern Middle East between 1800-1939. Taking place at the Occulus building 25-26 May, you can register to attend for £5. The final panel discussion, 'Whose Heritage?' is open to all and does not require registration.
