Clearing and Confirmation 2022
It’s that time of year again – A-level students have been getting their results, and yellow ticker tape appeared on the Warwick website, helping applicants and interested students to find opportunities and guidance on our Clearing pages.
2022 results
We are delighted that most of our undergraduate offer holders obtained the grades that they needed to join Warwick, and we look forward to welcoming them soon. We had a small number of courses with vacancies in Clearing for highly qualified students who may have changed their mind or missed out elsewhere, and we’ve now filled those.
Hotline
Our Clearing hotline has been a key source of guidance and reassurance for applicants as part of our larger Confirmation and Clearing process to support successful student recruitment.
Stephen Gray, Student Recruitment Officer, spoke to us towards the end of A-level results day:
We are now closed for clearing.
Latest updates
We’re sharing the latest Warwick updates on social media – feel free to share posts from University accounts to support students and help us co-ordinate enquiries.
What is Clearing?
Clearing is how universities fill undergraduate places still available for the upcoming academic year – through attracting students who’ve applied late, declined their firm place offer, didn’t meet offer conditions or didn’t get the offer they wanted.
