We are pleased to announce that IT Services are working to introduce a new set of approved PC suppliers over the next 4 - 6 weeks. These will be:

• Dell
• DTP (supplying HP)
• Viglen (supplying their PCs and Toshiba laptops)
• Softcat (supplying Lenovo)

As we reported at the end of 2013, RM are no longer supplying PCs. RM's withdrawal from the PC business was sudden, meaning the University has been without an approved PC supplier since 30th November. Getech are still our contracted supplier of Laptops until the end of Feb.

We'll post more updates as these suppliers are added to the list and when guidance is produced. ITS and Purchasing will be working hard to bring all of these suppliers online and are planning an official launch event once suppliers are all available.
