Graduation 2016: 20-22 January

2

The Winter 2016 Awards Ceremonies are a celebration of our students' successes and achievements and will see thousands of students graduating as part of Warwick’s Class of 2016. The award ceremonies will take place over the 20-22 January, with two ceremonies each day commencing at 11am and 3pm. All ceremonies will be held in the Butterworth Hall.

During the week we'll also be celebrating the great array of recipients of honorary degrees from radio Reverend, Olympic rowing coach, dyslexia researcher, author, leading literary critic, and teaching innovator.

Travel

As in previous years, we've arranged to reduce the amount of congestion on campus by running a park and ride scheme from Stoneleigh. Car park 2 (next to Bluebell) will be unavailable for staff during graduation week so this scheme can run effectively. Staff parking is available nearby in car park 6 (next to the Health Centre), and there is extra pay and display parking on Leighfield Road or in car park 3 (next to Cryfield).

While these measures will greatly reduce the impact of Graduation on campus life, please do be ready for a busier campus over graduation week. You may need to allow extra time for your journey, and we'd advise considering alternatives to parking on campus such as taking the bus, walking or cycling if these are an option for you that week. Don't forget you can take advantage of our Unicycles to get around campus too.

Unsung Heroes

Graduation just wouldn't be possible without lots of Warwick people getting involved with a variety of roles throughout the week. Read about our Unsung Heroes, their advice and roles, from 2015 Graduation here.
