Warwick’s environmental management system receive internationally recognised certification

ISO logo

The Estates Office's environmental practices have been officially certified by ISOQAR, an internationally recognised certification body.

Our ISO 14001 certificate gives official recognition to a wide range of Estates activities. These include our work relating to energy and sustainability, our planning and implementation of construction projects, our work to maintain and manage the campus environment, and our financial and administrative practices.

Ken Sloan, Warwick's Registrar, said:

"I'd like to congratulate the Estates Office on achieving this distinction. It shows a real commitment to excellence in the way we look after our campus, and it highlights a genuine concern for the environment in the way that we approach that work."

Bob Wilson, Director of Estates, said:

"It's fantastic to see our environmental management system receive this official approval. I'd like to thank all of our staff who've worked so hard to make sure we meet these standards, and look forward to seeing continuous improvements in how we manage the impact of our operations on the environment."
