Interested in teaching in rural India?

TeachingThe Warwick Laksh Foundation Project is recruiting student volunteers for a 4 - 6 week placement at the rural Laksh Foundation School, near Delhi, during summer 2013.

Staying in shared cottages at the farm, student volunteers will teach maths and English lessons to the school children and work with the school teachers to further develop their English and to share new teaching methods.

Placements will be fully-funded, but you will be required to raise £500 in advance of the placement to contribute towards future volunteering in India projects.

If you enjoy a challenge, are able think on your feet and build good relationships with everyone you meet then find out more, including how to apply.

The deadline for applications is noon on Friday 25 January 2013.

Please note that if shortlisted you must be available to attend the recruitment day on Saturday 2 February, on campus.
