Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week at Warwick

It’s National Apprenticeship Week and we’d like to take the opportunity to celebrate our apprentices here at Warwick and share their stories with you.

What is an Apprenticeship?

We know that apprenticeships is a term that has been around for hundreds of years but you may not be familiar with the difference it could make for you or your team. Apprenticeships potentially offer a funded qualification for new and existing members of staff right up to master’s level.

We also know that it may be a little daunting knowing where to start so we have developed a new one page guide or you can come along to our drop in clinic on Wednesday 5 February from 10.00 -12.00 in Room 2.9 in University House to discuss in person.

Our Success Stories

Meet our apprentice, Emily!

Emily attended the Warwick nursery as a child and is now back here as an early years apprentice, working alongside staff who looked after her as a baby! Emily joined the nursery team in September and is undertaking a level 2 apprenticeship in Early years with Coventry Chamber of Commerce. Find out more about her experience and why she decided to choose Warwick.

Meet our apprentice, Natalie!

Natalie is an existing staff member undertaking an apprenticeship in learning and development consultancy and business partnering. She previously already worked at Warwick in the Organisational Development department for four years and wanted to develop in her field and bring back the latest learning back to her team. Find out more about her decision to complete an apprenticeship and what different it has made on her career.
