Working in Pakistan: Career & Recruitment Fair

pakistancareerfairWorking in Pakistan: Career & Recruitment Fair on Tuesday 25 February, 1.00-4.00pm in Chancellors, on the second floor of the Rootes Building.

Warwick is delighted to be one of just three universities in the UK to host the Working in Pakistan: Career & Recruitment Fair, in conjunction with the British Council Pakistan.

This event is open to all Warwick students and alumni, plus students from other partner UK universities. As well as graduate opportunities, the companies attending will also have internship opportunities, so all years of study are invited to attend. We recommend you bring hard copies of your CV with you and come prepared to be interviewed and to ask employers questions about their roles. The employers will be looking to interview potential candidates during the fair and will hold second interviews with selected candidates (chosen at the fair) from 4:00–5:00pm.

Employers attending the fair include:

• Netsol
• Express Tribune
• Lucky Cement
• Mitchell's Fruit Farms
• Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates
• Engro (they are specifically looking to recruit for positions in both Pakistan and Nigeria)
• Abacus Consulting
• Allied Bank
• Abu Dawood Group

Seminar: Social Entrepreneurship in Pakistan

As part of the fair, students and staff will also have the opportunity to attend a free 40 minute seminar on "Social Entrepreneurship in Pakistan”. This is an opportunity to meet and hear from an inspiring social entrepreneur in the UK, Faraz Khan of SEED Ventures. The seminar will take place in the Panorama Bar area, on the second floor of the Rootes Building, next to the Chancellor's Suite, from 4.00-5.00pm.

To help you prepare for the fair, Student Careers & Skills are running a specific Effective Applications and Interview Tips session on Wednesday 19 February, 1-3pm in Ramphal, room R1.13. For more information and to book your place for this session go online.
