2012 Travel Survey Prize Winners

We've randomly selected the winners of the 2012 Travel Survey prize draw, and they are as follows:

  • 1st Prize (Apple iPad): Sunny Patel, Education and Development Secretary, WMS
  • 2nd Prize (Samsung Galaxy Smartphone): Michael Mills, Undergraduate Student, Physics
  • 3rd Prize (Virgin Experience Vouchers): Sean Bradnack, Gardener, Scarman House

Bob Wilson, Director of Estates, presented the prizes to the winners. He said:

"I'd like to thank all the staff and students who completed the survey – it's a really important piece of work for the University, and the quality of the information we get depends heavily on how many people take part. We're pleased to have received a record number of responses, and we'll use your feedback to improve transport to and from campus"
Number of Responses

We received 3,075 responses to the 2012 survey – 23% more than we did for the previous survey in 2010. The group that saw the biggest increase in responses was undergraduate students, with a 61.5% increase on the number in 2010. 26% more postgraduate students completed the survey, and 35% of all Warwick staff also took part, also an increase on 2010.

We're currently working to analyse and finalise the travel survey report, and we aim to publish the full results by the end of February.

Thank you to everyone who took the time and effort to complete the survey either online or by paper copy.
