A team of five undergraduate students from Warwick Business School and the Economics Department have beaten off competitors from other top UK universities, including Oxford and Cambridge, to win the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Indian Summer Challenge.

Dr Chris Moran, Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS), has been awarded a three year British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship, to be held in PAIS.

Professor Simon Collinson, Warwick Business School, has been appointed as a member of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) by David Willetts, the Minister for Universities and Science.

Dr Justine Mercer, Institute of Education, has been awarded a BERA (British Educational Research Association) Meeting of Minds Fellowship to work with Professor Howard Stevenson of Lincoln University on a piece of small-scale research investigating industrial relations in Higher Education.

Professors Wyn Grant, Politics and International Studies and Steve Hindle, Department of History, have become Academicians of the Academy of Social Sciences through the support of the Political Studies Association.
