Book prize for Dr Alex Withnall
Dr Alex Withnall, Associate Fellow in the Centre for Lifelong Learning, has received a Book Award from the Society for Educational Studies for her publication Improving Learning in Later Life, published by Routledge in 2010.
Winner Announced for Bar Fusion Competition
There were an impressive 385 entries into last week’s Bar Fusion competition. The lucky winner who was selected at random was Malcolm Newbitt, a member of staff from IT services – winning a meal for two at Bar Fusion.

The University is sad to announce the death of Warwick SU’s lay trustee, Ian King, who has passed away after a long and valiant battle with ill health. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
Former Registrar Jonathan Nicholls runs London Marathon
Former Warwick colleague Dr Tony Rich is sadly suffering from an incurable form of cancer and former Warwick Registrar Jonathan Nicholls will be running the London Marathon in April to raise funds for cancer research.
