The University is saddened to hear of the death of Warwick Business School Masters student Hannah McAllister. Hannah died following a road traffic accident on Thursday 21 October 2010. She was studying on WBS's MA Management and Organizational Analysis programme.

A student from Connecticut has been awarded theFulbright-Warwick Scholarship for 2010-11 to study at the University. Originally from Glastonbury in Connecticut, Paul Biscegliois a recent graduate from Haverford College, Pennsylvania, and he will pursue aMasters degree in Philosophy and Literature.

Mario Vargas Llosa wins Nobel Prize for Literature

Honorary Graduate Mario Vargas Llosa has been awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. The award was given "for his cartography of structures of power and his trenchant images of the individual's resistance, revolt, and defeat."
