Warwick Farewell – Ken Sloan
Deputy Registrar Ken Sloan leaves Warwick this Friday 3 September after almost 14 years at the University. He leaves to take up the position of Director for Universities and Higher Education for international services company SERCO.
Professor Nigel Thrift to Join Global Engagement Panel
Warwick’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel Thrift has been asked to join the American Council on Education’s (ACE) Blue Ribbon Panel on Global engagement. The Panel will bring together thought leaders from around the world to reflect on the increasingly globalised landscape of higher education and to consider the future direction of ACE’s global engagement.

Dr Seán Allan awarded Grant for Kleist Project
Dr Seán Allan, Department of German Studies, along with Professor Ricarda Schmidt of the University of Exeter, has been awarded a grant of £362,000 by the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
