Warwick's Vice-Chancellor to receive Honorary Degree
Warwick’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel Thrift is to be awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws from the University of Bristol this Friday in recognition of his many achievements within the field of geography. He will receive the honorary degree at Bristol’s summer graduation ceremony on Friday 9 July.
Ken Sloan
After almost 14 years in the University, Ken Sloan will step down from the role of Deputy Registrar on 3 September to take up the position of Director for Universities and Higher Education at SERCO. We wish him well.
Warwick Graduates Take Part in Mock Trial
Two Warwick graduates, Thea Osmund Smith and Richard Grimshaw, took part in a mock trial whilst on the Bar Professional Training Course at the College of Law. The mock trials offered them a chance to work on their cross-examination skills in a real Crown Court setting.
Bursaries for Erasmus Students in Memory of Enrico Galvani
The family of Enrico Galvani, an Erasmus student who studied at Warwick and sadly passed away before the start of last academic year, have set up a scholarship fund for Erasmus students in memory of him.
