Warwick's Success at Security Awards
Congratulations to Joan Hibbert and Harry Mangat from the University’s Security team who came joint second in the Association of University Chief Security Officers’ (AUCSO) annual 'Security Officer of the Year award.' Harry and Joan had been nominated for their part in thwarting a burglary at the Art’s centre in January, an action which saw both officers assaulted.
Student Calling Team Donate to Warwick
Late last year, one Warwick benefactor put a challenge to Student Callers: for every pound that they personally donated to the University, another pound would be given to match their gifts up to a £1,000 limit.
Warwick's Success at National Student Drama Festival
The University’s Drama Society has again collected a number of prestigious awards at the National Student Drama Festival, held in Scarborough at the end of March.
Gold for Warwick at the TUCO Food Service Skills Challenge 2010
The 17th annual TUCO Chefs’ and Food Service Skills Challenge took place on 23 March in Blackpool, with Warwick’s Ramkumar Govindaswamy scooping the top prize of gold in the Restaurant Challenge.

It is with much sadness that the University announces the death of Alison Kulp, a Foundation Degree student from the Centre for Lifelong Learning. Alison passed away after suffering from a brain haemorrhage
