Professor Laura Green, from the School of Life Sciences, has recently been awarded the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) research medal in recognition of her outstanding scientific work in reducing footrot in sheep.
Student raises £21,000 for Crisis sleeping rough over Christmas
While most of us were enjoying a feast of food and drink and cosy nights in this Christmas, 22-year-old Warwick biomedical student James Huxley Beavis was eating out of bins and sleeping on the streets to raise awareness of homelessness and raise money for the charity Crisis.
In Memoriam: Rachel Brown
It is with great sadness that we report the death of Rachel Brown of the Finance Office. Rachel passed away on Wednesday 5 December after a five year battle with cancer.
Rachel first joined the University in 1996. After spending some time away from the University raising her children, Rachel returned to work part-time in the Finance Office on a variety of projects from April 2006 onwards.
In Memoriam: Archie Wellbelove
It is with great sadness that the University reports the death of Archibald ‘Archie’ Wellbelove on Friday 7 December in a traffic incident. Archie was 18 and a first year undergraduate student in English and French.
