Former Warwick Professor elected to Académie française

Michael Edwards, a former member of staff at Warwick, has become the first British-born writer to be elected to the prestigious Académie française, France's highest learned body charged with defending the purity of the French language.

In Memoriam: Geoffrey Middleton

The University is saddened to hear of the death of Geoffrey Middleton. He served as Warwick’s Publicity Services Officer between 1987 and 1990 in what was then the University’s Publications and Information Office.

Laureates of Anthony N Sabga Caribbean Awards for Excellence

George Simon, a former Associate Fellow at the Yesu Persaud Centre for Caribbean Studies (formerly the Centre for Caribbean Studies) and Paula Lucie-Smith, a Warwick History graduate have been announced as laureates of The Anthony N Sabga Caribbean Awards for Excellence.
