Dani Caverzaschi, first year student in Economics, has been selected to represent Spain in the wheelchair tennis event at the London 2012 Paralympic Games this summer.

Final-year Theatre and Performance Studies student Holly Parker will be taking part in the Olympic Torch Relay on Sunday 1 July 2012, carrying the Torch through Alcester, near Redditch.

Warwick's young tennis teams were successful at the Aegon Classic at Edgbaston, a tournament for under 10s in Warwickshire. All the teams involved train at the University, managed by inspire2coach.

The University is saddened to hear of the death of James Cooper who was killed whilst on holiday in Florida. James was a tennis coach, who had coached at the University’s Tennis Centre, and was a full time member of the inspire2coach team.
