In Memoriam: Sheila Whitaker
Soon after the last Dubai International Film Festival, Sheila who was 77, was diagnosed as having the first indications of motor neuron disease. She died peacefully at home in London on 29 July 2013.
In Memoriam: James Martin
The University is deeply saddened to report that Dr. James Martin has died. James was the founder of the Oxford Martin School and a prolific author, receiving a Pulitzer nomination for his book 'The Wired Society'. He was renowned for his lectures and boundless energy and was an inspiration to millions. James was made an Honorary Graduate of Warwick in 2009.

Bill Yardley, honorary graduate of Warwick, a renowned farmer and distinguished artist has died aged 72.
