Tell us what good leadership at Warwick looks like
We’re looking for leaders, managers, and supervisors to share your views and experiences of leadership and management at Warwick. Come along to a listening session and tell us what it’s like to lead, manage or supervise. We want to hear from people across all areas and grades, no matter how long you’ve worked here, on what works well, what we need to do more of, and what support would help you to develop.
Research participation and volunteering
Support the local communities and research centres at Warwick. Take a look at the Volunteer and Research Participation forum to share and receive interesting opportunities to get involved. Current opportunities include the WITHIN study, looking for volunteers aged 18-65 with chronic pain.
Research Seminar: ''Queering the Pitch?''
At this seminar, ‘Queering the Pitch?’ Male Survivors and Conflict-Related Sexual Violence’, on 2 November, hear from Professor Chris Dolan, Global Sustainable Development, about the multiple ways in which the phenomenon of sexual violence against men - and the realities experienced by the survivors produced by that violence – destabilise established understandings of how such violence works, who is victimized by it, and how and why it needs to be tackled. It then looks at how this destabilisation in turn challenges us to reconsider core assumptions about the relationship between data and intervention.
Connecting place, culture, research and impact - stories from Coventry
Join a one-day live event focusing on the learning outcomes from the Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 intensive independent research programme, led by the University of Warwick and Coventry University with local artists, communities and citizens. The day, on 25 November, will look ahead to researching Coventry’s legacy programme and the opportunities for Bradford UK City of Culture 2025.
Get started thinking about research impact
The Impact Training Program is hosting its first session, Introduction to Impact, on 9 November, followed by a series of courses that provide an opportunity to learn more about what research impact is and how it is being supported at Warwick.
