Library refurbishment: temporary entrance
Work is now underway for the Library refurbishment project. To keep everyone safe and make way for our contractors, a new temporary entrance has been set up near Lib 2, opposite the Law School building. Tree pruning, felling and replacement scheme
The Estates team will be pruning back and felling trees on campus that have been assessed as ‘diseased, high risk or unsafe’ in a recent tree survey. Within our current tree management arrangements, our policy is that for every one tree felled we will replace with either 5m hedgerow or two new trees on campus.
Warwick Arts Centre transformed
Warwick Arts Centre's £25.5 million transformational redevelopment is officially complete - the countdown to re-opening its doors has begun. The centre has been transformed into a modern and accessible new space, which includes a spacious and welcoming foyer, three new cinemas, a repositioned Mead Gallery, and a new restaurant. Apprenticeships Minister opens £10 million WMG Degree Apprenticeship Centre
The new Centre provides up to 1,000 apprentices at a time with the opportunity to study on degree programmes to develop the skills needed by advanced engineering and manufacturing companies.
