Spring at Warwick

This series celebrates campus coming back to life in the spring and shows how our community is working together to boost biodiversity. Marvellous mammals on campus

In this episode, Tanya Carey from WMG introduces some of our much-loved mammals that call the University of Warwick home.

Tanya's fun facts:

  • Did you know that the only UK mammals that hibernate are dormice, hedgehogs and bats?
  • Rabbits are not actually native to the UK. They were introduced by the Normans over a thousand years ago for food and fur.

Get involved

Join the Energy and Sustainability team for a green spaces walk around campus, on Wednesday 8 May between 12-1pm.
