Draft strategy goals consultation launches today

Dear colleagues and students,

vcToday, Tuesday 29 April, sees the start of our consultation on the University's draft strategy goals. There are a number of ways for you to get involved from attending one of the strategy meetings that have been arranged to submitting your comments and feedback online. Visit http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/strategyconsultation to find out more.

As you will know, our strategy – Vision 2015 - published in September 2007, outlined a set of ideas, principles, priorities and key activities intended to launch Warwick towards its fiftieth anniversary.

We have made outstanding progress in our short history and we believe that the new draft strategy goals will build on our history, support our commitment to securing the position of Warwick as a leading global institution, ensure that we address the ambitions and aspirations of our students, staff, alumni and supporters and help us meet the range of challenges that our sector is facing.

These draft strategy goals have been developed following extensive discussions with members of the Warwick community drawn from the Senate, Council, Students’ Union, senior managers, heads of departments and other groups. We now want your comments, thoughts and views to feed back into that strategy process, prior to it being finalised and formally presented to Senate and Council this summer. Please take some time to read the draft goals document on our website and find out more about the range of engagement opportunities open to you now and over the next few weeks.
