University of Warwick supporting 4th National Science Cities Summit
The University of Warwick is supporting the 4th National Science Cities Summit, hosted by Birmingham Science City on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 November.
The Summit, entitled: "Quality of Life" aims to investigate how Science Cities can promote economic development driven by quality of life and engage businesses with Science Cities. This is a major opportunity to shape the future of the six Science Cities as key delivery partners for the Government's science and innovation agenda.
The conference will be held at three of Birmingham's flagship venues: the International Convention Centre (ICC), the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and Millennium Point, Birmingham's Science museum with a unique remit to reflect future science and technology in addition to the region's rich technological heritage. Day one will include a keynote speech by Ian Pearson MP, Minister of State for Science, as well as speakers from both the public and private sector.
