Students' Union Awarded Gold Sound Environmental Impact Award
The Students' Union (SU) has been awarded a Gold Sound Environmental Impact award at the Union of Students Services Ltd (NUSSL) AGM and Conference Awards Dinner. Warwick's Union is one of only 5 in the UK to receive the award, with 83 Unions taking part in total.
Warwick was awarded silver last year, but managed to achieve a gold award this time with the auditors commending the Green Space website, and the Union's commitment to local food and biodiversity.
Since Helen Kendrick, the driving force behind Warwick SU's outstanding performance was on holiday when the awards were announced, Marketing Manager Jackie Smyth collected the award on her behalf at the Britannia Adelphi Hotel.
