Warwick Summer Internships Programme applications open

Small and medium-sized enterprises or charities looking for someone to run a short term project or business idea can now apply to this year’s University of Warwick Summer Internship programme (WSI).

The programme enables Warwick undergraduate students to work within businesses for six weeks, funded by Santander Universities and donations from Warwick alumni and friends.

Jayne Mourinho, Internships Development Officer at the University of Warwick, said: “The internship programme at Warwick is ideal if you are looking to resource a short project or idea with an enthusiastic and capable student, at little cost to your business.

“A student intern can bring fresh ideas and a new perspective to your business while you provide a learning opportunity for these young people to gain transferable skills and to help with career choices.”

Businesses interested in the programme need to satisfy certain criteria and must have checked they can meet the responsibilities of being a host company. Full details of the requirements are on the Warwick Summer Internships programme website.

The deadline for submitting a vacancy for an intern is 9.00 am on Monday, 25 February. Positions will be advertised to students from Monday 11 March.
