IRCC 2025 Highlights

The International Research Culture Conference (IRCC) 2025 attracted over 500 delegates from across the UK HE research sector and 27 countries globally.

Thank you to all who attended and contributed to the conference.

Held on 17th September, the conference brought together over 60 speakers from a wide range of disciplines, sectors, and global regions. A dedicated international speaker panel explored global perspectives on research culture, highlighting its worldwide relevance and the impact of culture on research excellence.

The conference provides a special opportunity for attendees and presenters to submit a 'Critical Reflection' or 'Research paper' to a Research Culture Special Issue of Warwick's open access Exchanges Journal.

Next year, the International Research Culture Conference 2026 will be running across two dates:

• Monday 21st September: Online
• Wednesday 23rd September: In person at the University of Warwick
