Coventry Biennial

    Coventry Biennial 2023

    Following successful partnerships in 2019 and 2021, The University of Warwick co-funded (with Warwick Institute of Engagement and Sustainable Cities GRP) a significant and exciting exhibition, bringing together University research and contemporary art, together with local communities, to be a major part of the Coventry Biennial 2023, with Warwick becoming one of the major sponsors of the Biennial.

    Professor Graeme Macdonald (English and Comparative Studies) collaborated with a Biennial artist to create a research informed flagship exhibition for CB2023. Find out more.

    How was Warwick involved?

    The University of Warwick researchers have partnered with the Biennial in a number of ways. The University has supported the creation exhibitions with Warwick researchers having been involved in associated events. Discover the previous Warwick projects here.

    Coventry Biennial: Looking Back

    Warwick has been collaborating with the Coventry Biennial since its second iteration in 2019, with artists responding to a variety of Warwick research and Warwick researchers participating in various events. Find out more about the ongoing relationship.
