Coventry Health Determinants Research Collaboration

The Coventry Health Determinants Research Collaboration (HDRC)

One of 30 NIHR funded HDRC's the Coventry HDRC brings together Coventry City Council with the University of Warwick, Coventry University, the local voluntary sector and other partners to create an infrastructure that helps tackle health inequalities and improve health across the city.

The Coventry HDRC is funded for 5 years and was launched in October 2022. For more information on the academic leads at UoW - CHDRC (warwick.ac.uk)

"The HDRC is establishing a research infrastructure to reduce health inequalities and improve the health of Coventry residents as well as impacting nationally and internationally. By creating a dynamic and sustainable research infrastructure and working with the people of Coventry to identify their needs and priorities, we will stimulate, support and disseminate research to identify evidence-based solutions to the factors impacting people’s health."
