Testimonials
Dr Nathan Hodson said, “Lots of people go to parenting groups but when they get home they find it hard to use their new skills. Pause puts these skills in parents’ pockets, making it easy for parents to use these skills and work out what works for their family.”
One Local Authority parenting practitioner said, “We see a lot of parents that will come into a parenting programme, go away, and then come back again in six months, or escalate to MASH support or early support or whatever. And I think the Pause app is a really positive way of being able to, in many cases, stop that cycle happening.”
Quotes from parents
“Having the use of the Pause app, where I’ve been able to take things like consequences and reward systems with me easily, rather than carrying a jar of buttons or a sticker chart—it’s enabled me to put other things in place to make life a bit more manageable.”
“I really liked it, and I still use it now. Even though the course has finished, I still use it”
“I think it was all pretty easy to use. I struggle with technology in general, but I found it straightforward and enjoyed using it.”
