Poetry for You-Poetry on Pause

About the session:
Come, sit and pause with poet Navkiran Kaur Mann who'll ask you a few questions and co-create a bespoke poem for you on handmade eco-friendly paper.
When you come back later, you will get the handwritten poem with the artist's stamp and envelope to take away your personal poem with you as a memento of your day.

How do I sign up?

Navkiran will have a sign up sheet on the day for a 15 minute consultation. Please visit the Words 4 Wellbeing stand in the Agora to sign up.

Please note these sessions are very popular and will be quickly booked up. Please only sign up if you can ensure you can attend. You can collect your hand written poem from the experience after 4pm from the Words 4 Wellbeing stand. If you prefer to leave an self addressed and stamped envelope and we can post it out to you, or alternatively arrange collection on campus after the event from the Junction.
Meet the Facilitator:

Navkiran Kaur Mann is a spoken word poet and writer based in Coventry. Her work is dedicated to addressing gender equality, amplifying South Asian voices, mental health, and faith. She has been commissioned by notable organizations such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and Theatre Absolute to create pieces that reflect her experiences and perspectives as a South Asian woman. Navkiran's poetry often explores themes of resilience, identity, and cultural heritage, making her a powerful voice in contemporary spoken word and writing communities.
