About the session:
Step into a transformative experience where Arts and Technology converge through the immersive power of Virtual Reality (VR). Our innovative VR sessions allow you to explore new worlds and historical times in a completely unique way.
We will show Empire Soldiers, A Caribbean Story by MBD. This is a poetic account of the experiences of soldiers from the Caribbean in the First World War. The combination of VR and poetic performance is astonishingly engaging and impactful. The story takes 10 minutes. We have 8 headsets.

Meet the Facilitator:
Dr Robert O'Toole is an Associate Professor of design, museums, technology, and arts education at the University of Warwick, leading Warwick's Digital Arts and Humanities Lab. He is Warwick's first Faculty Director of Student Digital Experience. As part of this he researches virtual and augmented reality. He has degrees in philosophy, computing and cognitive science, AI, education, and design.
