ICRC Workshop 3

The International Consortium for Research CultureLink opens in a new window (ICRC) invites colleagues and partners to save the date for its third consortium workshop, hosted by Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Building on learnings from earlier international workshops, this workshop will take the form of a three-day symposium and will focus on moving from shared understanding to concrete institutional action on research culture reform.

Discussions will examine how research‑rich and equitable cultures are shaped by context, leadership, incentives, and governance, with a particular attention on Southern African perspectives and what they reveal about research culture in differentiated and unequal systems. The symposium will also explore the institutional conditions required to sustain responsible, long‑term international research partnerships across regions.
