Apply for a funded place at IRCC 2026: Collaboration for Lasting Change

The National Centre for Research Culture Link opens in a new windowat Warwick is offering a limited number of free places (valued at £145) for members to attend the International Research Culture Conference 2026.

Taking place on Monday 21 September 2026 (online) and Wednesday 23 September 2026 (in person), IRCC26 brings together the global research culture community to explore this year’s theme: Collaboration for Lasting Change.

The conference will showcase how collective action can help build research environments where people and ideas can thrive. The programme includes keynote speakers, expert panels, workshops, research culture carousels, presentations and opportunities to connect with colleagues working to improve research culture across sectors and disciplines.

These funded places are intended for PRISM network members who are actively engaged in, or interested in contributing to, research culture development.

To apply, please complete the short application form below. Applicants will be asked to tell us:

  • why they would like to attend IRCC26;
  • how the conference connects to their current work or interests;
  • any research culture initiatives they have contributed to;
  • their views on the key challenges facing PRISMs; and
  • how they will share and apply their learning afterwards.

Please note: funded places cover the conference fee only. Successful applicants will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs for in-person attendance.

Applications will be reviewed to support a broad and inclusive representation of the PRISM community. In making decisions, we will consider a range of factors including applicants’ geography, role type, career stage/seniority, experience and motivation for attending the conference, alongside their potential to share learning with the wider network.
