Student Carers Project
Supporting Student Carers at Warwick
The Student Carers Project aims to support students at the University of Warwick who balance their studies with caring responsibilities.
Phase I: Understanding the Experiences of Student Carers
The first phase of the project explored the experiences of students balancing their studies with caring responsibilities, drawing on institutional student data, focus groups and a review of existing University policies.
Our findings and recommendations are presented in the report Understanding the Experiences of Student Carers.

Phase II: Towards a Care-Aware Community
We are delighted to have secured further funding to build on the findings of Phase I.
In this next phase, we aim to develop activities that bring student carers together, raise awareness of their experiences and explore ways to improve support across the University.
