External Users

Our Bioinformatics & Digital Health Services welcome external use from both industry and those at other universities. Our team can discuss with you your needs and quickly establish a way forward to help deliver on projects. Whilst routes of engagement will depend on the size and scope of your needs, both Richard Stark (R.Stark@warwick.ac.uk) and Sascha Ott (S.Ott@warwick.ac.uk) are available for informal enquiries.

Typical routes of industry engagement

Our Bioinformatics & Digital Health unit was established to provide both the knowledge base and flexibility that industry needs. We are happy to work on projects ranging from the evaluation of a single set of data over an afternoon to a long term research collaboration with mutual development. We know one size does not fit all!

Mechanisms for contracting include the Warwick Scientific ServicesLink opens in a new window portal, for shorter term projects, and bespoke research contractsLink opens in a new window for longer pieces of work. Our staff will be at hand to advise the route that will work best for you.

Please contact: Richard Stark (R.Stark@warwick.ac.uk) and Sascha Ott (S.Ott@warwick.ac.uk)

Working with other universities

We know bioinformatics support can be difficult to obtain and we already work with a number of academic groups outside of Warwick. We can work flexibly, either via short small contract projects to help support your grant proposals, or we can be costed as an external resource on your grants, or we are happy to be collaborators and work together on joint proposals.
