AI in the Workplace: A Cross-Disciplinary Sandpit

The purpose of this sandpit is to create a focused, collaborative environment in which participants can:

• Explore key research questions related to AI in the workplace
• Identify areas of common interest across disciplines
• Develop early-stage ideas with potential to grow into competitive funding bids

During the event, we will provide information about relevant funding opportunities in this field followed by a number of activities designed to promote idea generation and collaboration among participants.

The sandpit format is intended to be inclusive, exploratory and supportive of new connections and perspectives.

All are welcome! We particularly encourage academics with an interest in :

• AI and its impact on work, organisations or productivity

• Are keen to explore interdisciplinary collaboration

• Would like to develop ideas that could lead to future funding applications

By the end of the sandpit, participants should have:

• A clearer understanding of current funding opportunities
• New interdisciplinary connections
• One or more emerging research ideas or themes with funding potential
