Writing Space Workshop

Write into the New Year

The Society & Culture Spotlight are pleased to announce they will be running a series of writing workshops aimed at PGRs and ECRs from across the university.

These writing sessions will give you protected time and a friendly, focused space to finally make real progress on the writing that you want to tackle in the new year. They will include substantial time for structured, independent writing blocks as well as opportunities for goal setting, reflection and discussion with likeminded peers and colleagues.

The first workshop will take place on:

14 January 2026 - 10am-1pm in Room A1.11, Social Sciences Building

If you are a PGR or ECR working within the broad area of 'society and culture', please come along for a friendly writing session and make a positive start to achieving your writing goals in 2026.

Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

The session will be led by Dr Rebecca Morris, from the Department of Education Studies.
