Bernie Collins Event - 14th November 2025

We’re delighted to announce a session with Bernie Collins, former Head of Race Strategy at Aston Martin F1 team who will be talking about her education and career as an engineer. Bernie was previously selected as one of the ‘30 under 30’ young rising stars of manufacturing for the Make it in Great Britain campaign and named in The Manufacturer Top 100 UK Role models.
Bernie has 15 years’ experience working within the Formula One industry. She has travelled to or supported F1 races over a period of 11 seasons across strategy and performance engineering functions. Her previous F1 experience was gained at McLaren Racing.
Her role has seen her leading race strategy decisions from the pit wall that have directly influenced the results of both drivers and team. Balancing information flow and data from the drivers, engineers and support team in mission control as well as reacting to external events. She has worked alongside numerous drivers including Sebastian Vettel, Lance Stroll, Sergio Perez, Jenson Button, Nico Hulkenberg and Esteban Ocon.
Bernie currently presents and commentates for Sky Sports F1 aiming to bring her strategy and technical knowledge to the viewers at home.
