Dr Andrew Roadnight
Andrew Roadnight works in Research Support Services at the University of Warwick, where he is the Research & Information Officer. His duties involve supporting major research projects and assisting in the preparation of research-related policy and strategy.
Before joining RSS, in 2003, he was a tax inspector and trade union negotiator in HM Customs & Excise (1974-91) and then a student at Warwick, where he gained a BA (Hons) in Comparative American Studies and a PhD in American Diplomatic History.
His publications are United States Policy Towards Indonesia in the Truman and Eisenhower Years (Palgrave, 2002) and “Sleeping with the Enemy: Britain, Japanese Troops and the Netherlands East Indies, 1945-1946”, History (April 2002).
